Malcolm Brogdon is eager to start the next chapter of his NBA career.
The new Boston Celtics guard was officially introduced at a press conference Tuesday, where he talked about his excitement to be joining a historic franchise and the opportunity to win his first championship.
“I’m ready to go. I’m revved up,” Brogdon told NBC Sports Boston’s Chris Forsberg. “I keep telling people, I feel like my fire has been re-lit coming to Boston. I’m hungry. I want to win.”
Brogdon wasted little time putting on Celtics gear and hitting the practice court at the Auerbach Center later in the afternoon.

Brogdon, who will wear No. 13 in Boston, averaged 19.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game for the Indiana Pacers last season. The 29-year-old guard also is a terrific perimeter defender.
This two-way skill set should help Brogdon make a smooth transition into a Celtics lineup that’s already loaded with versatile guards and forwards.
