A potential class action under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act against Berbix Inc. concerning storage of the data it collects for its customers was given the green light by a federal trial court.
Berbix integrates its biometric identification software into clients’ websites, including a facial recognition component. One of its clients is car rental company SilverCar by Audi.
