Miami-based 54D will be expand its first studio to New York City in October.
54D has locations in Coral Gables, Mexico and Colombia. More are coming to Los Angeles, Miami Design District and Broward County in 2023.
Global Fitness will open at 125 W. 25th St., New York in a 6,041-square-foot studio that will accommodate 120 members per cycle, with a maximum of 30 members per individual class.
“Our expansion in New York City seemed like the perfect position to continue the brand’s evolution, following our vision to make this program accessible to more people. 54D in New York City will introduce people to the new version of themselves,” said Rodrigo Garduño, founder of 54D.
54D is scouting a few areas for their second location in New York City, including the Upper West Side and the Financial District. The chain plans to hire 10-12 employees for each location at $65,000 a year.
54D has been open for 10 years ago in Mexico City, and offers in-person and online program consisting of nine weeks of intensive training, nutrition and recovery.
